Registration for the 2003 hp houston marathon will launch via the internet on August 16 -- and all online entrants will save $5 off their entry fee.

The 31st running of the nation's premier winter marathon will hit Houston streets on Sunday, January 19 at 7:00 a.m. With a new six-hour time limit, organizers are expecting a record turnout for the marathon and its companion events -- the ep 13.1 miler and the 24 hour fitness 4 miler. All early registrants who enter the race through online registration will receive a $5 discount on their entry into either the hp houston marathon or the ep 13.1 miler.

Opening the online registration process early will also help streamline the popular Kickoff Party, set for September 9 in Memorial Park. More details on the Kickoff Party.
