Texas Marathon Triple finishers
March 25, 2008
Thirty-eight Texans and three runners from outside the Lone
Star State successfully completed the Texas Marathon Triple
Challenge, which required the runners to finish the Texas
Jammin' in January Marathon (Jan. 1 - Kingwood), Surfside Beach
Marathon (Feb. 9 - Surfside Village), and the Seabrook Lucky
Trails Marathon (March 16 - Seabrook). The oldest runner to
complete the challenge was Huntsville's 66-year-old Ken Johnson. One of these runners also successfully completed the Marathons
of Texas -- making him the only runner with jackets from both
series this year. Look for a feature on this runner in the May
issue of ITR.
