Dallas White Rock Marathon race director Marcus Grunewald let us know earlier this week that there were less than 800 spots remaining for the popular December marathon. The event is looking at record registrations for this year and the event will host its largest participation numbers by far.

Grunewald did not want local Dallas and Texas runners to miss out on the marathon by waiting until the last minute. The race will be full by that point.

Plenty of spots are still available in the accompanying half marathon, but registrations are brisk for that event, too. So one shouldn't dally on their entry into that event either.
