Runners from around the world gathered Sunday for the 35th running of the Dallas White Rock Marathon, presented by the Dallas Police Association and benefiting Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children in Dallas. The marathon drew an estimated 10,000 participants, while an estimated 100,000 spectators lined the streets to cheer on the runners. Top finishers of the marathon received a total prize money purse of $50,000, which was given away at the "I Rocked" Awards Banquet following the race at the American Airlines Center.
