Jerry Flanagan's 25:05 nailed down the second spot in the men's 65-69 age group.

Kelly Crenshaw showed a festive spirit at the start of the 5K run.

Matt Lucas finished eleventh overall and third in the 35-39 age group.

Humrei Thompson easily bested the women's 30-34 age group competitors.

Chris Hansen toured the 5K loop course in 30:47.

Some 600 runners and walkers signed up for the first annual event.

Forty-four-year-old Susan Stewart averaged just over 10:30 per mile pace for the 3.1 mile run.

Looks like Wendy Burgoyne will need another X for her T-shirt.

The Kids Run participants break from the starting line.

Lot of little tykes participated in the kids run, and then enjoyed the face painting, clowns, bouncer and other fun activities geared towards the youngsters.
